Tammy Nelson, PhD, est une psychothérapeute de renommée internationale, une sexologue certifiée, une sexothérapeute certifiée et une thérapeute certifiée en relations Imago. Elle est thérapeute depuis près de 30 ans et directrice exécutive de l'Integrative Sex Therapy Institute. Elle a créé cet institut afin de mettre au point des cours pour les psychothérapeutes, car le besoin de thérapeutes sexuels et de thérapeutes de couple diplômés et intégrés se faisait de plus en plus sentir dans le domaine de la santé mentale, où les usagers ont besoin d'interventions plus complexes pour répondre à leurs besoins relationnels.
